Perhaps you have got one Splitter and one ADSL Modem installed in your premises. Out of them, Splitter filters Voice & Data and send Voice to telephone set and Data to PC through ADSL Modem. ADSL Modem handles data flow between your PC and internet site through Broadband equipment.
     The BSNL Broadband service, initially consists of High speed internet (256 kbps and more) and simultaneous phone service on the same telephone line. Subsequently, other services such as VPN, Multicasting, Video Conferencing, Video-on-Demand, Broadcast application etc. will be introduced. This ADSL service comes to you from BSNL at the most affordable price. Your registration helps us to bring the service to you conveniently.
     Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited (BSNL) launched its broadband service, Dataone, on Pongal Day January-14th-2005 simultaneously in Chennai, Bangalore, Hyderabad and Kolkata.
